Located in central Phoenix, Arizona, Christown Women's Bible Study is a non-denominational, non-profit 501c3 organization dedicated to teaching God's way of "designing" a home. Our leaders teach God's view on the home and offer practical ways to love your husband and your children.
Each meeting is divided into two sections. The first hour and 1/2 is a general gathering with all the ladies in the Activities Center. The final hour each lady can choose a smaller class on a different area in family life or Biblical studies. Classes last for a semester or for the full study year depending on the class. Second hour classes availability differ each year.
Each lady is invited to attend a Newcomer's Meeting their first day, during second hour. For those ladies with an immediate need for counseling, the Rebuilders Class meets each week at CWBS to encourage women when they are going through a difficult time or season in their marriages, in their mothering, or just life in general. We begin our time with a devotional lesson and scripture memory. In our break out groups we have a time for sharing and more personal time with a Godly mentor/lay counselor who give Biblical and practical advice. It is a safe place to come to be loved and prayed for. Our team of lay counselors are available outside of class to encourage and pray for you as well.
Meetings are held at Bethany Bible Church in the Activities Center, 6060 North 7th Avenue, Phoenix, Arizona on Thursdays, 9 a.m. to 11:45 a.m.
First hour sessions are recorded weekly and are available for a specified donation amount. Click for the Mail-In CD Request Form. Click to view the list of available CDs.
All CD donations are used to pay childcare attendants and study expenses. Childcare is available for toddlers through twelve-year-olds.
